Sun Switch is brought to you by National Energy Services, a well-established energy efficiency organisation based at the National Energy Centre in Milton Keynes with a team of solar PV system designers in locations around the country.
All our system designers are fully trained and Government accredited energy assessors.
By installing our Sun Switch system, you will be able to get paid for the electricity you produce at rates that are guaranteed for 25 years, index linked, and tax free. You will also dramatically reduce your carbon footprint.

We have over 20 years’ experience of helping individuals and organisations to improve energy efficiency in their homes and commercial premises. We have trained tens of thousands of energy professionals since we launched our National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme in 1990 and we are now one of the largest government-approved accreditation schemes for energy performance certificates. Austin Baggett
Austin is the Deputy MD of National Energy Services and the General Manager of the Sun Switch service. A chartered engineer, Austin has been with the company for 9 years. He lives in Old Stratford and had a Sun Switch 2520 system installed in July 2010.

Alison Cutland
Alison is our Sales Manager and is responsible for ensuring that our customers get a good quality proposal from one of our regional System Designers. Alison has been selling the benefits of products that save you energy for 20 years and has worked for NES since 2001.

Magda Jazdzejewska
Magda is a project manager and is involved in many aspects of the Sun Switch business. Magda is a qualified domestic energy assessor and new build energy assessor so has a good knowledge of energy efficiency and microgeneration. Before joining NES Magda worked in global trade and has been living in Milton Keynes for 5 years.

Wilson Olakkengil
Wilson is a technical consultant at NES, but is also Sun Switch’s chief system designer. He is responsible for ensuring that our customers get the best Sun Switch system for their circumstances, and for keeping up to date with the latest technology. Wilson has a degree in mechanical engineering and is also a qualified new build energy assessor.

J Tomlinson Ltd - National Energy Services' installation partner
With over 60 years' experience of designing and installing mechanical and electrical services, J Tomlinson Ltd (JTL) has been chosen as NES's partner of choice to install Sun Switch PV systems.
JTL has a directly employed workforce of 350+ staff and engineers who carry out work in over 50,000 homes each year. A MCS accredited installer, their staff share NES's commitment to providing quality services and high levels of customer satisfaction in accordance with the REAL Assurance Scheme Consumer Code.
Their scope of work ranges from small maintenance and repair visits to large capital projects involving the design and installation of complex services for buildings such as hospitals and schools. A key part of their strategy centres on the design and installation of energy efficient systems incorporating renewable technologies such as PV, solar thermal, ground and air source heat pumps, combined heat and power units and biomass boilers.
Most recently, JTL has designed and installed energy efficient systems for a development of new homes for Yorkshire Housing Association. The systems comprised a Worcester Greenstar 30 Cdi system boiler and 2 Greenskies solar panels supplying a twin coil solar hot water cylinder. The project was the overall winner of the Worcester Bosch Group Environmental 2010 Award for Excellence.
JTL is renowned for their high standards and operates fully compliant management systems which are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and BS EN ISO 14001:2004. They are also registered with the following trade and professional bodies:

Del York
Del is J Tomlinson's NICEIC Qualifying Manager for electrical work. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and of the Energy Institute. He is also qualified in the design, installation and commissioning of solar PV systems. Del has over 25 years' experience of working in the electrical engineering industry during which time he has developed a detailed knowledge of the design, installation and maintenance requirements of all forms of electrical systems.

We have a team of Solar PV System Designers who are trained to undertake surveys and specify the right system for your home. Our Designers are not only experts in solar PV systems they are also qualified and practicing government approved Domestic Energy Assessors or Home Inspectors. All are registered with the National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme and are CRB checked.
