The British Standards Institution (BSI) ISO 9001
Since 1993 NES has held a certificate of quality management system ISO 9001(certificate number FS25719), which ensures that the company operates with rigorous quality standards. We have adopted an active approach to quality management for the individuals who become members, providing robust information on the accuracy of the reports and the standard of service provided.
Renewable Energy Assurance Listed (REAL)
The REAL Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aim is to bring information and reassurance to clients wanting to buy and install any microgeneration system, including solar PV panels. The REAL logo is a symbol of professional excellence and a sign that the supplier has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in their consumer code. Microgeneration Certification Scheme
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent scheme that certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. The primary aim of the MCS is to provide consumers with confidence and protection by evaluating microgeneration products and installers against robust criteria. The MCS is the only certification scheme to cover all microgeneration products and services, and has support from the government’s Department of Energy and Climate Change.
Sun Switch uses Schuco panels that are MCS-approved products. Our installation partner, J Tomlinson Ltd (see About Us), are MCS-accredited for solar PV systems.
Product guarantee
NES warrants:
- The physical construction of the Solar PV Panels for 5 years
- The operation of the Inverter for 5 years
- The electrical installation for 2 years after the Completion Certificate has been signed
The PV panel manufacturer warrants the electrical output of the Solar PV Panels to be no less than 80% of their designed performance after 25 years.
In addition to the above certifications, NES provides continuing training and support for its staff, members, and work closely with its partners, to ensure that service provided to our customers is of the highest possible standards.
